TWO DOGGIE GALAS on our calendar for June.
The Washington Animal Rescue League–a/k/a the place where I adopted Jeremiah, my now-11-year-old St. Bernard mix–is marking its 101st year in existence by holding its 101 Gala on June 13, 2015.
The dinner and dance will take place at the Renaissance DC Downtown Hotel, and leashed dogs are welcome to attend, presumably with their owners. (Kitties will no doubt watch a live feed from the comfort of home, if they deign to watch at all.)
Black-tie is optional, but 101 Dalmatians-inspired black-and-white attire is encouraged. Got that memo: It’s our go-to look!
Go to warl.org for more information.
After that, on June 20, the Washington Humane Society is holding its 28th annual Bark Ball, at the Washington Hilton. Jeremiah (and JonJon and Markus and Atari) are invited to this black-tie event, where there will be a special bar for the pups.

Okay, doggie, wake up!

Très chère Nancy,
Je te félicite d’organiser cet évènement original !
Comment vas Jeremiah ? Tu lui fais une caresse et tu lui donnes quelques biscuits pour un chien âgé.
Hugs et bisoux,
