JUST IN TIME for the real, juicy tomato season, Nancy Pollard’s Kitchen Detail column brought us fresh ideas from Maine (where we hear it’s cool!), including the tasty tomato tart from her family favorite eatery, Fore Street. (And one of us just made that great peach cobbler from the week before. Yum.)

Anther new voice for MyLittleBird is Cindy Tilson, who will entertain us with Late Dates, tales from the over-50 dating game. Stay tuned!

Back in the fashion world, all those bare summer arms need a strong anchor, LittleBird Janet Kelly realized. So she came up with a selection of bold cuffs and bangles that signal the season as well as the kind of pow that cuffs had for Wonder Woman.

Speaking of Wonder Woman, Valerie Monroe, of the How Not to F*ck Up Your Face column, addressed early signs of aging and pointed out the one beauty procedure  that can keep many wrinkles at bay. Hint: It’s not a facelift.

Funny lady Andrea Rouda discovered the Zen of the auto dealership’s repair shop. Meanwhile, LittleBird Mary Carpenter got serious about the growing health risks that come with climate change (think tropical insects and diseases migrating northward with warming air and seas). Shudder.

That’s all till tomorrow!
