ABOUT A YEAR ago, I started seeing some sleek-looking autos on the road with an insignia I couldn’t identify. Hmm, I wondered, could those cars be the Teslas I’d heard vaguely about? Not long after, Elon Musk was a household word and Tesla stock was skyrocketing. And, yes, indeed, those battery-operated beauties with the subtle “T” I’d been seeing whizzing down River Road and breezing by on Nebraska Avenue were the year’s “it” brand. A few days ago, I was able to take a snap shot of the parked car.
The license plate says it all.
